Manchester City may reportedly face competition from Barcelona for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international has been in fine form for Inter once again this term with 25 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions.
His performances have caught the eye of the Cityzens, who are aiming to sign an elite striker during this summer’s transfer window.
According to Calciomercato, the Premier League leaders are not alone in showing a serious interest in the 27-year-old. Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Inter Milan striker.
However, Despite interest from City and Barcelona, Inter Milan appear reluctant to sell their star striker, according to information relayed by SiempreInter.
The €90m-rated star is one of the names on City’s short list, along with Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, and even recently Southampton’s Danny Ings, as they seek to find a replacement for Sergio Aguero this summer.
Whether either of them can live up to Guardiola’s demands remains to be seen, but they are undoubtedly natural goalscorers; as their individual records shows.
