Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports to another update on Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho’s future at the Etihad.
The midfielder has less than six months left on his contract, and in the summer he can leave the Etihad as a free agent if he decides against signing a new deal with the Citizens.
His future is very much in doubt as there is no signs of an intention from City to renew the player’s contract for a second year running.
According to journalist Jorge Nicola via Sport Witness, Fernandinho’s Man City contract looks set ‘not to be renewed’ at the end of the season
The report claims that the midfielder is considering a return to Brazil, and is one of the midfield options that Atlético Mineiro are considering to sign this year.
