Some Manchester City fans were left unimpressed with the performance of Ferran Torres in their 2-1 victory over Westham in the premier league on saturday.
The premier leader were made to work hard by the Hammers at the Etihad, seeing Dias’ 30th-minute opener cancelled out by an equalizer from Michail Antonio just before the break.
It was Stones who rescued the three points as he swept home a cut-back from Riyad Mahrez with just over 20 minutes to play.
Many City fans pointed out an off the pace afternoon for Ferran Torres, who was taken off for Foden midway through the second half
Ferran Was guilty of failing to track back for the goal but a thankless task to come into the side not on his natural side and be expected to dribble in a goal on his own.
Without Bernardo, City fans expected the young Spaniard to have been the man in the forward line to contribute most to the high press, but that doesn’t seem like part of his game.
This was a brilliant chance for Torres to fight his way into City’s best eleven. On that he fell well short and is likely to be just a rotational option in the immediate future.
Some Man City fans, who weren’t impressed with Ferran’s Performance took to twitter to express their thoughts and opinions – here’s what some of them had to say on Twitter.
Torres was awful today. Lots to learn https://t.co/RZsHlWPBQu

Showed patches of what he could do but was mostly quiet, wasn’t his sort of game

Ferran looks lazy lately. We can do with his Valencia pace and tricks

Ferran Torres is a liability, didn’t progress at all since he arrived, he keep on making the same mistakes by trying to shine on his own. And some said that we brought better than Sane?

Would rather him at cf for the rest of the season. Him and Aguero rotating. Idk why pep was keep on starting Jesus St while Ferran was on geh bench. His movement and positioning is world class

Had little moments of brilliance but overall wasn’t great today, but most of our team was bad today West Ham deserved the win
