Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Kevin De Bruyne is now a major doubt for the Liverpool game on February 7th with a ‘small hamstring tear’.
The Belgian playmaker left the game shortly before the hour mark on Wednesday. Although some reports had suggested it was a precautionary measure.
The Mirror now report that City’s medical staff have assessed the injury and believe he is likely to miss between two and three weeks – though have not ruled out a longer spell on the sidelines.
As a result, the Belgium international is not expected to be available for City’s crunch match with Liverpool on February 7, although he could return in time to face Tottenham Hotspur later next month.
The playmaker, who has already amassed three goals and 15 assists in all competitions this term will join Sergio Aguero out of the Manchester City team.
The Argentine striker will remains in isolation after confirming on social media on Thursday afternoon that he had tested positive for the virus.
In reaction to the news shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

We do not have any capable player lets be honest. Bernardo has been in huge decline since 2018 season. Sterling mehnnnn, ferran? Mahrez?

Please don’t panic. We have Foden, Bernardo and Gundo and who knows Cancelo may step up to the oche. In the meantime we must NOT play KDB before he’s ready. He and Sergio must be introduced carefully.

I’d rather be gets ample time to recover instead of being rushed back. Our next four games are against teams we should beat regardless of De Bruyne’s absence.

This is bad but we have got talent to fill the shoes with foden put him at CAM mahrez on the right is still just as good we need to have faith in our squad instead of saying we are gonna lose just because we dont have KDB
