Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Eric Garcia wants to pay €2M out of his own pocket to sign for Barcelona.
The highly-rated 20-year-old centre-back has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Barcelona
Garcia, whose contract at the Etihad runs out in the summer, has his heart set on returning to Barcelona and has even agreed personal terms with the club.
The 20-year-old is also keen on moving to Barcelona this month, but is understanding of the Spanish club’s ongoing financial difficulties.
According to Sport via Barca centre, Eric wants to pay 2 million euros out of his own pocket to sign just to seal a move Barça.
Whether the Catalan side make a move this month largely depends on the club’s upcoming presidential elections.
It was confirmed last week that the elections have been pushed back until March 7 due to coronavirus restrictions in Catalonia.
