Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Inter Milan are determined to sign Sergio Aguero on a free transfer next summer.
The 32-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad is due to expire next June, and it appears likely that he will leave Pep Guardiola’s team in search of pastures new.
According to Calciomercato, Milan boss Antonio Conte will is planning a summer bid for Sergio Aguero, are willing to hand the experienced striker a £7m-a-season salary in order to entice him to Serie A.
The report adds that Inter, who are desperate to wrestle the Serie A title from Juventus, who have dominated Italian football over the last decade, are prepared to offer the former Atletico Madrid star a two-year contract.
Aguero is yet to play for Guardiola’s side this season due to a knee injury but has recently resumed full training and could make his return against Arsenal in the Premier League on October 17.
