Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Napoli have chosen Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Greek defender has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal and the arrival of William Saliba and Gabriel will push him even further down the pecking order.
Manchester City are looking to complete the signing of Koulibaly this summer as they belatedly try to replace Vincent Kompany.
The Citizens have been negotiating with Napoli for several weeks over their asking price, with Aurelio de Laurentiis looking to make at least €90m after turning down €100m last summer.
City have already personal terms with the player and are now just looking to agree on a deal with Napoli.
Last week, Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness claimed the Greek defender is closer to joining the Italians than any of their targets should they sell Kalidou Koulibaly.
According to TuttoNapoli, the serie A side have reached agreement with Arsenal for Sokratis for €4.5m and the Player has agreed to join the Club.
Sokratis is already 32 and Arsenal will know that they have to sell him this summer or risk losing him for nothing after this season.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, Fans as always have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
