Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the club have made an offer for the Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly after months of speculation and multiple claims.
Kalidou Koulibaly, who is a genuine target for City this summer has been linked with a move away from Naples for several transfer windows now, after the defender established himself as one of Europe’s most formidable defenders.
Guardiola is desperate to find a reliable centre-back partner for Aymeric Laporte and has identified the 29-year-old as a priority signing.
According to Calciomercato via Sport Witness, Manchester City and Napoli have ‘consolidated’ their relationship, and Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent ‘will try to bring the sale price to €70m + bonuses’. The ‘first offer’ made by the Citizens is considered too low’ by the Italian club.
The report claims Koulibaly, who currently earns €6m/year in Naples will ‘further improve’ his financial situation by going above €10m/year at City.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City xtra, Manchester City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
