Man City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the Club have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in the upcoming transfer window.
The youngster, who spent a season on loan at the Emirates Stadium has been outstanding at times for the Gunners this season.
The midfielder has been a regular for the London side and former City assistant manager Mikel Arteta has spoke of his desire to keep the 23-year-old for another season.
Although Arsenal had hoped that a €35m bid would be enough to permanently sign the Spanish star reports from Spain have suggested City are ready to step in and rumble the gunner’s plans.
According to Diario Madridista, Pep Guardiola who is believed to be a huge admirer of his talents would welcome the chance to work with the Spaniard.
With David Silva set to depart Manchester City at the end of the campaign, Ceballos could replace his compatriot at the Etihad eventhoug Phil Foden is expected to step into his shoes.
