Manchester City are reportedly set to complete the transfer of Valencia winger Ferran Torres in a matter of days.
Ferran, whose current contract ends in June 2021 is apparently top of Pep Guardiola’s wish list in terms of potential reinforcements in wide attacking positions.
The 20-year-old is widely expected to seal a move to the Etihad this summer, with all parties concerned eager for the deal to go through.
According to Eurosport, as cited by Sports Illustrated, Manchester City will offer €40million for the attacker in the hope of sealing a deal.
Once an agreement is reached between the two clubs, the deal could be made official in the coming weeks, and Torres could be City’s first signing of the summer.
Torres, who can play on either flank, has scored nine goals in 97 appearances for Valencia. He is among La Liga’s trickiest wingers, averaging close to two successful dribbles per game.
He is renowned for his pace and ability to beat players, making him a perfect replacement for Sane. He would be a tremendous asset for the Manchester City manager to have.
