Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the club and Valencia are in ‘very advanced negotiations’ over a deal for 20-year-old winger Ferran Torres.
Ferran, is apparently top of Pep Guardiola’s wish list in terms of potential reinforcements in wide attacking positions.
In recent weeks, the Citizen have made significant strides in their attempts to secure the signature of the 20-year-old Spanish winger, whose current contract ends in June 2021.
According to Héctor Gómez of GolsMediaSports as relay by Sports Illustrated, Manchester City and Valencia had been in ‘very advanced negotiations’ today involving Txiki Begiristain and agent Jorges Mendes. It is claimed that the player will complete a transfer for €25 million plus €10 million in bonuses.
The deal could be made official in the coming days, and Torres could be City’s first major signing of the summer.
