Leroy Sane’s future at the Etihad has been uncertain for more than a year. The German winger, who has been struggling with injuries for much of the campaign, has been linked with a return to his homeland.
Bayern Munich have not exactly been subtle in their advances for the Manchester City winger but are prepared to pull out all the stops to land him this summer in what will assuredly be a very expensive deal.
Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich saga is never ending. The rumors surrounding this potential transfer for the past 18 months have taken just about every imaginable twist and turn along the way,
However, Judging by an image that Leroy Sane posted on Instagram (via @leroysane19) on Monday night, the speculation certainly doesn’t seem to be weighing heavily on him.
The winger was all smiles as he trained with his team-mates at the City Football Academy yesterday, with his social media post also displaying a happy David Silva as Pep Guardiola’s side continue preparations for the resumption of the Premier League in just over two weeks’ time.
Sane hasn’t featured in the league since the victory over Leicester City in May 2019, but is now back in the mix as Pep Guardiola prepares to select his team for the meeting with Arsenal on June 17.
Plenty of Manchester City fans have made their feelings known in the replies to Sane’s post as they begged for the winger to stay at the Etihad Stadium
Looks like someone is very happy here. 💙— N.🦦 (@Kuntastic_) June 1, 2020
