Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that the club is Prepare to Battle Chelsea for Leicester City Left-Back Ben Chilwell

Chilwell has been heavily linked with a move to either Manchester City with the England international enjoying a breakout campaign last season making his debut for Gareth Southgate’s side

According to 90min_Football, Manchester City will look to rival Chelsea for Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell (23) – who was highlighted as the preferred replacement for Benjamin Mendy in November.

The report claims that the Citizens are struggling to find anyone ready to take Benjamin Mendy off their hands this summer with Guardiola growing frustrated with the Frenchman’s lifestyle.

Chilwell has been valued at £80m by the Foxes, and with Chelsea are currently mulling over an offer, the Premier League champions are weighing up a bid with Everton’s Left-Back Lucas Digne is an alternative option

In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra and City Chief on Twitter, City fans have flocked to share their opinions on the transfer rumours.

“When the football restarts again all this shit are going to be silenced nowadays they’re bored and have nothing to talk about,” claimed one fan.

while another asked, “Who the hell are  @90min_Football ? Some lads in their bedrooms?”

Another tweet said:”Everyone complaining about this, but for the last 2 years city haven’t had a reliable left back and it’s time to buy new one. Mendy is always injured and Zinchenko is a midfielder. When we played Liverpool last season, we played Laporte left back because pep can’t rely on them”

J@vi @jdiazm11 added, “Mendy Flag of France will not leave City. He is happy on the team and with Pep and City is not insterested to let him go. They are looking for a second one but not to replace him. Half of last year and almost completely two years ago was 100% with injuries and City did keep him so, FAKE NEWS”.
