Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Leroy Sane’s new representatives have warned Manchester City and Bayern Munich about the interest in the German winger.
According to a report from German publication Sport Bild, Leroy Sane’s new agent Damir Smoljan has indicated that Bayern were the only Bundesliga club being considered but also mentioned man City and other clubs as interested parties.
“Together with him we talk with Manchester City about what the next step could look like,The interest of FC Bayern is no secret. But other top clubs also contacted us about Leroy he said.
“FC Bayern is the only club in Germany that Leroy can imagine as the next step in his career. He sees there the requirements for achieving his big goal of winning the Champions League.”
The German, who hasn’t featured for City this season due to an ACL injury sustained in their Community Shield triumph back in August, has been linked with a move to the Bundesliga giants for some time – with reports last summer strongly hinting at a potential Bavarian switch (The Guardian)
Sane’s future at the Etihad has been uncertain for more than a year. A new contract offered by Pep Guardiola’s side has remained unsigned. With just a year left on the player’s contract, and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the industry, Bayern hope they could sign him for a bargain price.
With his future at the club in doubt, many City supporters have flocked to discuss this latest update on Sane – with many claiming that they should sell the 24-year-old, while others claim that they have simply had enough of the Sane transfer saga.
Just get him out of the club 😴

I’m glad we spent millions last year on his wages and get him fit so he can walk away. Who in theses times has £100 Million?
