Manchester City have offered €45m for Leicester City Football Club centre-back Çağlar Söyüncü (23) – a player Pep Guardiola wants ‘at all costs.
According to Turkish newspaper Aksam, the current Premier League champions have offered €45 million for the central defender – a player Pep Guardiola is described as wanting ‘at all costs‘.
The report claims that Brendan Rodgers’ side are demanding a sum in the region of €70 million, and judging by previous Manchester City transfer business, a sum that is far beyond the club’s current reach.
People don’t seem to realise all our rivals home and abroad are trying to price City out of a deal. Well this latest bid of €45m is now been hiked up to €70m by Leicester.
There’s no point in negotiating because Leicester won’t budge. Why would Leicester sell him when they are a point ahead of us?
Surely this is unfair trading all borne out of attempts to stop City from dominating football. 70m is nothing for this player. He’s been tremendous for Leicester this season, better than Maguire at United. He is the solid and with Laporte they will be unstoppable.
Ever since I started watching football, I didn’t witness Pep Guardiola buying defender with €70m. if this news was from the owner of man city it might happen. This would be a great pickup But Pep had said no business till summer.
