Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club is interested in signing Borussia Dortmund world-class youngster Erling Braut Haaland in January.
City have been linked with prolific striker Haaland in recent weeks, potentially as a replacement for Sergio Aguero. The 20-year-old is also been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Signing another striker has been a subject of debate among City supporters for some time. With Sergio Agüero’s age, injuries, and contract situation catching up to him, a striket is the most exciting position they will aim to make an addition next summer.
According to Dean Jones reports via EuroSport, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland is a ‘genuine target’, with ‘fresh enquiries’ expected at the start of the year.
The Norwegian forward is viewed as the ‘all-action front man’ who will ensure the goals do not dry up in the coming years. Jones states that.
The reports adds Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, also from Argentina, is one figure they feel could fit well as the next focal point of the side.
A player like Haaland, who has scored 6 goals in 6 starts this Bundesliga season, would be the perfect foil to the Kevin de Bruyne-led City midfield.

And then his club will ask for an ‘unreasonable’ fee. Then the player will ask for ‘ludicrous’ wages. They his agent will ask for an ‘unacceptable’ bonus. Then we’ll spend two months close to an ‘imminent’ signing. Before finally opting for Olivier Giroud!
