Matheus Nunes is a Brazilian midfielder waiting for his chance to shine at Manchester City, but with limited playing time and the potential return of Ilkay Gundogan, his future at the club is uncertain. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1998, Nunes moved to Portugal at a young age and began his career with local side Ericeirense. Since joining City in 2023 for £54m from Wolves, Nunes has had a bit-part role in the team.
