Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was asked about his thoughts on a potential swoop for Erling Haaland Following Mino Raiola Comments on the Borussia Dortmund striker future.
The reigning Premier League champions were named by agent Mino Raiola as one of four ‘big clubs’ that could sign the Norwegian superstar.
City have been touted as the favourites for Haaland. After all, the striker grew up as a fan of the Manchester club. And given Pep Guardiola’s need for a natural attacker, the Borussia Dortmund forward is a perfect signing for the Premier League giants.
Previewing his side’s upcoming Premier League clash with Wolves on Saturday, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was asked about Raiola’s comments on Haaland and a potential move to the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola did not want to publicly discuss the latest update around Erling Haaland and maintained his form for not talking about the transfer market or players at other clubs.
“Don’t ask me about that. I’m not going to answer,” he said.
These Guardiola’s comments were shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters.
