Pep Guardiola has opened up about Man City transfer plan as he admitted that some new faces will join his squad while the future of some of his players at the club remains uncertain amid the transfer speculations.
Guardiola has made some good signings since he joined the Cityzens in 2016. The Spaniard over the years have brought many talents to Etihad Stadium, he since almost all the present City squad players except Kevin De Bruyne, and some academy graduates.
Ahead of another summer transfer, the City boss admitted that some new players may join the Premier League champions while some of his top players may also decide to leave.
According to the Mirror, Guardiola, while speaking recently, insisted that this season was amazing for them, and they would have to start preparing for the next campaign as soon as possible.
“Next season we’ll have to go step by step, we’ll see what happens, what squad we will have. We have to start to work and after that we will see. My feeling is that this season has been amazing.
“I know some players have to make a decision on whether they stay with us, some players might come. I’m really pleased with the team, how they’ve behaved all season. I could not say differently.”
Manchester City might lose some of their top and experienced players this summer as Kevin De Bruyne who has been at the club for many years is reportedly considering his future.
Furthermore, Bernardo Silva will likely join Barcelona following the report that the Portugal international has been planning for life away from Manchester. At the same time, Man City first-choice goalkeeper, Ederson has joined the list of players who wanted to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
