Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the reason why Gabriel Jesus was not a part of the squad that beat Southampton 1-0 on Saturday.

The Brazilian international, whose omission was a surprise to Man City fans suffered a blow to his mouth in the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion last Tuesday evening.

Pep Guardiola in the Pre-match told the media that Jesus “had a condition in his teeth in the last game and he’s not available.”

“He trained yesterday [Friday], but didn’t feel good with his teeth. He decided not to join us at St Mary’s,” the City boss said.

Guardiola is now sweating over the fitness of Jesus as the Citizens prepare to take on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Tuesday.
