Manchester City are again seeing Wesley’s profile rise in Italy – and now praise from a prominent Brazilian voice is adding further weight to Roma’s growing valuation.

Earlier this week, Italian reports suggested AS Roma would demand around €50m (£43m) to sell the 22-year-old in the summer. The Brazilian wing-back arrived for €25m (£21.5m) and has quickly seen his value double after a strong debut season in Serie A.
