Rocco Vata is a reported transfer target for a clutch of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Manchester City.

Over the past 18 months, the young winger has been a key component within the Bhoys B side, who are competing in the Lowland League, UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup.

After establishing himself as a consistent member of the squad last campaign, Vata has continued his impressive progress and development this season.

His progress through the youth ranks at both club and country is clearly catching the eye of sides from across Europe who are watching over his development.

Manchester City have signed a host of Scottish players for their academy sides and Vata is the latest to be linked to Pep Guardiola’s side

Picking up on interest from Italy, The Sun reports:

ROCCO VATA is attracting interest from some of the best clubs in Europe, according to reports.

The Celtic starlet has reportedly caught the eyes of Serie A giants AC Milan, Juventus and Roma. Premier League sides Manchester City and Arsenal have been credited with interest in the 17-year-old as well.

Vata has been a regular for Celtic’s B team – scoring four goals in 11 appearances in the Lowland League this season.

The Republic of Ireland youth international netted in his side’s Uefa Youth League campaign too as he got on the scoresheet after just ONE minute of their 2-1 win over RB Leipzig in Germany.

And reports in Italy claim the starlet’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed.

With the loan networks that Manchester City have Vata would have a number of options to consider that are more likely to develop his career.
