Manchester City are considering making a “huge offer” for Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci, who has been impressing with his performances this season. AC Milan and several Premier League clubs are also monitoring his situation, but City are currently the favorites to make a bid for the 23-year-old Italian international.
Following an ACL injury to midfielder Rodri, City have been considering options for a replacement. Manager Pep Guardiola has stated that there are solutions within the squad, with players like Mateo Kovacic and Rico Lewis stepping up in Rodri’s absence. While Ricci could be a potential target, there is no guarantee that a bid will be made in the upcoming transfer window.
It has been reported that Torino would want at least €40m for Ricci, which would be within City’s transfer budget. However, despite the interest in the midfielder, no credible UK sources have confirmed City’s interest. While it is a transfer story to watch, there is no certainty that Ricci will end up at Manchester City at this stage.
