Manchester City is monitoring Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid and may make an offer for the forward if he becomes available this summer. With competition for his spot in the starting lineup increasing, Rodrygo could see limited game time due to the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and emergence of Arda Guler at Real Madrid.
City manager Pep Guardiola is known to admire creative and quick players, making Rodrygo a potential target for the club. However, Real Madrid had previously shown no interest in letting the 23-year-old go, reportedly holding out for a fee exceeding €100m.
City, who recently sold Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid for £82m, are in the market for a forward and may look to sign a replacement before the transfer window closes. Alongside Rodrygo, other players such as Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace and Pedro Neto from Wolves are also rumored to be on City’s radar.
