Manchester City are currently not planning to make a bid for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, despite previous reports suggesting otherwise. The club had strongly considered signing the English midfielder last summer but have since cooled their interest. Eze’s improved performance since then may have contributed to this decision.

Eze could potentially be targeted by other Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Liverpool. The 25-year-old may end up moving to a title rival next season, putting him in a position to face Manchester City. It is also possible that another player has taken priority over Eze in City’s list of midfield targets.

City has also been linked to other potential signings such as RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo, although the club is unlikely to break their transfer record this summer. Players like Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz, who have been mentioned as alternatives, may come with hefty price tags exceeding £100m which could be out of City’s reach.
