Manchester City are reportedly targeting Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko ahead of the January window.

The striker is just 17 years of age and is attracting huge interest from around Europe as he apparently gets ready to link up with Unique Sports Management when he turns 18 towards the end of November.

Moukoko’s mooted move to the new agency paves the way for a potential move to a Premier League club next year as interest in him is said to be rife amongst England’s biggest clubs.

Moukoko’s deal with the Bundesliga side expires at the end of the season and is being linked with a summer exit.

According to Football Insider, Man City have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund sensation next summer.

The report states that City’s recruitment team are keeping close tabs on Moukoko at a time when he is attracting interest from the world’s elite.

Moukoko came through the ranks at Dortmund and made his first-team debut back in 2020. He has grown in prominence in the ongoing campaign, producing a return of four goals and six assists from 18 matches across all competitions.

Called an ‘incredible’ talent by reporter Ed Aarons, Moukoko has indeed also attracted praise from Haaland in recent years with the Norway international once calling him the ‘biggest talent in the world’.

The youngster has shown his mettle on the international stages as well, having bagged six goals in just five matches for the German Under-21 national team.

A goalscorer with immense potential, Moukoko’s potential availability on a free transfer is bound to attract Manchester City.

Apart from Moukoko, the Premier League champions are reportedly among a number of European clubs who are considering a move for RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo.

Since joining the Bundesliga side in January 2020, Olmo has scored 18 goals and provided 21 assists in 102 appearances.

Although Olmo is currently under contract until June 2024, there is expected to be a battle to sign the Spain international next summer.

According to Fichajes as relayed by Manchester Evening News, Man City are one of the clubs who are interested in Olmo, who has made 24 appearances for Spain.

However, the future of Bernardo Silva will determine whether the Premier League champions decide to make a move to sign the 24-year-old.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid are concerned over interest from Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to new information..

It is no secret that the Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder is one of the world’s most sought after players, despite only being 19 years of age.

As per Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy, Los Blancos officials perceive Manchester City as their biggest threat in completing a deal for the highly-rated central midfielder.

However, the financial power of the Premier League champions is reportedly not what worries Madrid officials.

It is highlighted – despite being common knowledge among Etihad supporters – that Manchester City are an incredibly well structured and well run club, with good stability across the board that is not always associated with Real Madrid.
