Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have identified Michael Olise as a target in the summer transfer window.
The France Under-21 international signed for Palace back in July 2021, signing from Reading for £8.37m, and has quickly become one of the most talked about young players in the Premier League.
In his second full season with Crystal Palace, Olise became the youngest player to ever bag three assists in a single Premier League game – achieving the feat in a thumping 5-1 win over Leeds United – and also became the first Palace player to ever record over 10 assists in a single season in the top flight.
Olise’s creativity has caught the eye of some of the top clubs in the Premier League, Fabrizio Romano reports that treble-winners Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal have all expressed an interest in the player.
Chelsea and Manchester City have both Michael Olise in their list. Understand there’s release clause into his contract — around £35m. 🚨🔵 #CFC #MCFC
Both clubs are waiting for clarity about his conditions as he picked up injury last month.

The Hammersmith-born wideman is also believed to have a release clause worth £35 million in his contract.
The Citizens have been in the market for a new right-sided midfielder during the current transfer window thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s impending move to the Saudi Pro League.
Along with Olise, have been linked with both Raphinha and Dani Olmo, although the club have quickly distanced themselves from the two players, despite recent reports.
If Manchester City beat Chelsea to the signing of Michael Olise, one aspect that will likely delight the club’s fanbase would be the capture of a brilliant young player.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
