Manchester City might find it fairly straightforward to conclude a summer transfer deal for Savio. The winger made a move to Troyes, a club owned by the CFG, during the 2022 summer transfer window and is currently on loan at Girona.

Despite his ongoing contract with Troyes until 2027, there have been some behind-the-scenes discussions about the possibility of another move for the 19-year-old.

A recent report from The Athletic stated that Savio’s signing would be relatively easy, given his connection to City’s sister club, Girona. Savio himself has expressed his desire to join Manchester City, saying, “When I signed for the City Group, I had the ultimate role of joining Manchester City.”

The Brazilian winger’s performance this season has been noteworthy, featuring in 26 games for Girona across La Liga and the Copa Del Rey, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.

He has been a prominent goal-creating force for Girona, making more passes into the penalty area, goal-creating actions, and progressive carries than any other player.

Savio’s impressive performances have earned him a strong season rating, making him one of the highest-rated players at the Spanish club.

Argentinian pundit Diego Latorre has even compared Savio to the legendary Brazilian winger Garrincha, further highlighting his exciting potential.

With such promising qualities, a potential move for Savio can be a valuable addition to Manchester City, should Pep Guardiola decide that the winger is ready to contribute to the team.

The expected summer transfer window could provide an excellent opportunity for the club to secure this promising talent and enhance its attacking options.
