He has also given numerous players from City’s academy their senior debuts, including 16-year-old defender Kaden Braithwaite, who recently made his debut in a 2-1 win over Watford in the Carabao Cup. Braithwaite revealed that Guardiola told him before the match that he doesn’t mind if he makes mistakes as long as he works hard and runs.

Braithwaite expressed that making his senior City debut was a dream come true, reflecting the positive impact Guardiola has had on young players at the club.
