Manchester City did not make a move to sign Pedro Neto as a replacement for Julian Alvarez, despite reports suggesting they were interested. The club already has a strong lineup of wingers, including Savinho, Jeremy Doku, Oscar Bobb, and Jack Grealish, making a move for Neto unnecessary. Even though Neto ultimately joined Chelsea, a team not expected to challenge City for the league title, the Sky Blues should not be concerned about missing out on his signing.
City’s decision not to pursue Neto can be seen as the club being content with their current squad and not feeling the need to add another winger.
