With Jamal Musiala’s contract at Bayern Munich set to expire in 2026, Manchester City is among the clubs interested in signing him. Fabrizio Romano confirmed City’s interest, stating that they will move to sign him if he does not extend with Bayern. Bayern has had positive talks with Musiala about extending his contract, and he is open to staying beyond 2026. Despite interest from other clubs like City and Real Madrid, Musiala seems inclined to stay at Bayern, where he has had a strong start to the season.
Musiala is considered the heir to Kevin De Bruyne at City, whose contract expires in 2025. Bayern’s president expressed a desire to keep Musiala long-term, considering him the potential next Thomas Mueller. Despite his talent, it seems Musiala is leaning towards staying at Bayern for the foreseeable future.
