Josko Gvardiol admitted to making ‘silly mistakes’ during his debut season at Manchester City in the 2023/24 campaign. Despite this, Gvardiol became the club’s most expensive investment last summer, showcasing the faith Etihad Stadium officials had in his talent by moving him into the left-back role within their defensive line.
