Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club will focus on VfB Stuttgart left-back, Borna Sosa if a move for Marc Cucurella fails.
With Oleksandr Zinchenko on his way to Arsenal, Manchester City will be in the market for another left-back this summer.
Manchester City and Guardiola have reportedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion’s Marc Cucurella’s as their preferred replacement.
As it stands, though, it appears that City have little intention of meeting Brighton’s asking price, said to be in the region of £50m, and are reportedly looking at other options.
According to BILD Sport journalist Christian Falk, the Premier League champions will focus on VfB Stuttgart left-back, Borna Sosa if a move for Marc Cucurella fails.
The Croatian is the topic of interest for a lot of top clubs. Chelsea had interest earlier in the window, and Bayern Munich are currently interested at the moment.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
