One club has ruled themselves out of signing a key Manchester City player, with Al-Nassr closing in on a deal to sign Bento from Athletico Paranaense instead of Ederson. Manchester City has faced the exits of big names in recent years, but Pep Guardiola has consistently ensured the team remains at the top. While Al-Nassr had initially shown interest in signing Ederson, they were only willing to offer £25.2 million, far below City’s demand of £42 million.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Al-Nassr had identified Bento as their primary target, with a fee of around €18 million agreed upon. This could mean that Ederson is set to stay at Manchester City, as the Saudi club looks to finalize the deal for Bento. While City had identified Stefan Ortega as a replacement for Ederson, the Brazilian goalkeeper is considered one of the best in the world and his experience is invaluable to the team. If Ederson stays, it would be a huge boost for City as they aim to maintain their dominance in the league.
