ESPN pundit claims one Man City player could be about to make a big mistake

Manchester City have had a successful period, winning six of the past seven Premier League titles and various domestic and European accolades. However, some players have left the club in previous transfer windows, and it seems like it could happen again with Julian Alvarez reportedly attracting interest from Atletico Madrid for over €75 million. Pundit Steve Nicol believes that Alvarez values game time over trophies and may be making a mistake by leaving City, as he could potentially miss out on playing in important matches and winning more silverware.

Alvarez has been a key player for City, scoring 36 goals and providing 18 assists in 103 appearances. Despite winning several trophies with the club, he has not always been a starter in crucial games, such as the FA Cup final and Champions League quarter-finals. While Alvarez may be looking for more game time and new challenges at Atletico Madrid, Nicol believes that he may be decreasing his chances of winning more trophies by leaving City.
