Manchester City honored former midfield maestro David Silva with a ‘lifetime season card’ upon his return to the Etihad Stadium, where he played his last game in 2020. Silva was back at the stadium to watch Manchester City take on Wolves, and he witnessed a stellar performance by Erling Haaland, who scored four goals, including a first-half hat-trick.

Before the game, Silva received a standing ovation and was welcomed back as a club legend. Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak presented Silva with the ‘lifetime season card’ as a token of appreciation for his decade-long contribution to the club. Al Mubarak expressed gratitude for Silva’s efforts and impact during his time at the club.

During his time at Manchester City, Silva made 436 appearances, scoring 77 goals and providing 132 assists. He played a pivotal role in winning four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and two Community Shields. Silva was also a recipient of individual accolades, including three PFA Premier League Team of the Year awards, solidifying his status as one of the best midfielders in English football history.
