Speculation is swirling that Jack Grealish might leave Manchester City in the upcoming summer. Rumors suggest that the Premier League champions would not hesitate to let go of the Englishman if the right offer comes along.

The English international was one of the standout performers for Manchester City last season, playing a crucial role in their treble-winning campaign, which included their first-ever UEFA Champions League victory.

Despite his contributions, Football Insider reported that Man City are considering selling the ex-Aston Villa player. The report indicates that City’s leadership has doubts about his performances since joining the team and he may be allowed to leave.

Additionally, reputable football journalist Simon Phillips claimed that Chelsea FC has discussed potentially acquiring Jack Grealish. He noted Chelsea’s need for a skilled winger and Grealish being seen as a feasible option in the upcoming transfer window.

“Another winger I am told has been internally discussed at Chelsea recently, is Manchester City’s Jack Grealish. The 28-year-old has been linked with a return to his former club Aston Villa in recent weeks, and due to his bit-part role at City, there is a belief in the industry that he will be available for transfer this summer and also, he is likely to be open to moving to another club where he will have a more important role at.”

Contrary to the speculation, Fabrizio Romano stated that there have been no discussions about Grealish’s future at Manchester City. He emphasized that the club shows no signs of parting ways with Grealish in the summer.

The football journalist mentioned that he lacks insider information on Grealish’s potential transfer to Chelsea in the upcoming summer window, confirming that there have been no discussions about his future at Manchester City.

“I’m aware there have been some slightly surprising links with Jack Grealish [and Chelsea]. However, I have zero information on this – Manchester City are not discussing Grealish’s future, not even internally at this point of the season.”

Jack Grealish Struggles To Improve His Goal-Scoring Ability

The Manchester City winger has struggled to improve his goal-scoring abilities, but he brings stability to City’s attack and excels in off-the-ball performances, especially in tracking back. While he hasn’t scored much this season, his overall contribution to the team is notable.

This season, Grealish has scored three goals and provided three assists in 22 starts and 31 total appearances. This is lower compared to other players in his position.

For example, in 19 starts and 38 total appearances, Jeremy Doku has five goals and 8 assists in his first season in England. He is close to matching Grealish’s last season record with just three assists away.
