John Stones spoke highly of Kevin De Bruyne, emphasizing the Belgian’s exceptional vision that sets him apart from other players. Following De Bruyne’s impressive performance with four assists in Manchester City’s 6-2 victory over Luton Town in the FA Cup, Alan Shearer remarked that forwards in his team don’t even need to look when De Bruyne is playing a pass – they just need to be on the move as De Bruyne seems to always find the perfect pass for them.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Stones played a game of “word association” and when asked about De Bruyne, he simply replied, “King for Kevin [De Bruyne].” Stones was also asked if De Bruyne is currently the best player in the Premier League, to which he mentioned that it’s hard to pick between him, Phil Foden, and Kevin De Bruyne due to their exceptional qualities on the field.

Stones further praised De Bruyne, highlighting his unique ability to see things that no one else does on the pitch. He expressed his delight in having De Bruyne back after his injury, admiring his assists and goals and hoping that he continues to perform at his best.

The midfielder’s outstanding vision is a trait that sets him apart and makes him a standout player. This trait is shared with other attacking midfield greats from the past, such as Kaka, Zinedine Zidane, Xavi Hernandez, and Mesut Ozil, who were known for their ability to play defense-splitting passes with ease.

If De Bruyne can showcase his exceptional vision in the upcoming Manchester Derby, Manchester City will likely secure another victory over Manchester United. His unique ability to see things on the pitch that others can’t makes him a valuable asset to his team.
