The Football Association has reached a decision regarding the fixture details for Manchester City’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea in April.
Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team have made it to the final four of the competition for the sixth season in a row, setting a new record in English football. They have had a flawless run in the tournament this season.
They started with a third-round victory over Championship strugglers Huddersfield Town, followed by a fourth-round win at Tottenham Hotspur. In the fifth round, Erling Haaland scored five goals against Luton Town and Bernardo Silva netted a brace in the quarter-final against Newcastle United.
City will face Chelsea in the semi-final, meeting them for the third time this season after two previous draws. The fixture is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 20 April, with kick-off scheduled for 17:15 (UK time).
The other semi-final between Coventry City and Manchester United has been rescheduled to Sunday 21 April at 15:30 (UK time) due to security concerns raised by the Metropolitan Police.
After their Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid, Manchester City will face challenging Premier League fixtures in April, including away games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, as well as a home match against Aston Villa.
