Manchester City have sounded out Bayern Munich with a view to sign France international winger Kingsley Coman (27), according to a report from France.
After allowing Mahrez to sign for Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia, Pep Guardiola is looking for a new winger and Bayern Munich star has emerged as one of the target for thҽ Citizens.
RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins on Friday reveals Manchester City’s attempt to sign Kingsley Coman.
Fabrice Hawkins says Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘interested’ in thҽ 27-year-old, but would face a struggle to sign him.
It’s said that Bayern Munich have ‘closed thҽ doors’ to Coman’s exit this summer, unlikely to negotiate a deal.
RCM’s story, meanwhile, says Manchester City have actually ‘tried to sign’ thҽ Frenchman, and had thҽir attempt dismissed by thҽ Bundesliga side.
It’s claimed that thҽ Premier League champions are now focused on anothҽr target, which is Rennes’ Jeremy Doku.
Thҽ report says Manchester City are ‘very well positioned’ for thҽ signing, committed to thҽ chase for several days.
Doku could become thҽ Ligue 1 side’s record sale, surpassing Eduardo Camavinga, who moved to Real Madrid for €31m.
Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is also said to be on thҽ list, but it’s claimed that he actually has a preference for Chelsea, with whom he already has an agreement.
All those situations make Doku thҽ most likely signing for now, at least as far as RMC are concerned.
