Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are one of several European clubs interested in Juventus youngster Nicolo Rovella.
Rovella, who joined Juventus in January 2021, has only made three senior appearances for the Italian giants, but has featured on 14 occasions on loan already this season.
He was named captain for Italy Under 21’s for the matches against England and Japan. The midfielder has made 17 appearances for the U21s, registering three goals and one assist.
The Serie A new boys have enjoyed his talents for much of this season and he is attracting the attention of clubs inside and outside Italy
According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues are monitoring the 20-year-old’s situation, with the player impressing since his summer loan switch from the Old Lady.
The report claims that City have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old, but any move would be unlikely to happen until next summer at the earliest.
However, the Bianconeri are unlikely to listen to offers for the player and are planning to bring him back to the club at the end of the season.
