Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims representatives of Jude Bellingham have been involved in talks with the club.
Bellingham has been one of the best prospects in world football since his with Birmingham City. He made his debut in senior football at Championship side when he was only 16 years old. Clubs around Europe were targeting him in 2020 and he ended up joining Borussia Dortmund for a fee of around £25m.
At the tender age of 19, the Englishman already has 90 appearances for the Bundesliga club. In his time in Dortmund, Bellingham has scored 10 goals and provided 18 assists. He’s developed into one of the finest midfielders in world football.
With 15 international caps to his name as well, Bellingham has already played with the likes of Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold with the England national team.
The 19-year-old has shown energy and tenacity in the midfield in the Bundesliga. He now has the experience of playing in one of the biggest teams in Europe on a regular basis.
He is expected to depart Dortmund next year. They have made it clear that he is valued at £103m ahead of next summer. Liverpool and Real Madrid are known to be admirers of him.
A report has said that Manchester City are now another club who wants him as they have supposedly held talks with the midfielder’s representatives.
Next summer it looks set to be a big battle between some of the worlds biggest clubs for Bellingham.
The report was shared on Twitter and it attracted plenty of attention from Manchester City supporters.
