Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is ready to meet Brighton’s asking price and launch a £45m bid for full-back Marc Cucurella.
City have made no secret of the fact they are still in the market for one more piece of incoming business with the long-running saga over Marc Cucurella ongoing.
And with Oleksandr Zinchenko expected to leave the Premier League champions, the Brighton and Spain left back remains at the top of their list. Talks between the parties have not moved forward much and there is still no agreement between the two clubs over a potential transfer.
Italian broadcaster Sportitalia reported early on Thursday that Manchester City are set to accelerate their pursuit of the Spanish full-back this summer.
As per the report, Brighton want upwards of £45million for the Spaniard following an impressive season and he still has four years left on his contract.
According to the latest information from Manchester Evening News, Manchester City are ready to meet Brighton’s asking price and launch a £45m bid for Marc Cucurella.
The report was shared on Twitter and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
