Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Chelsea fear Mason Mount could be lured away by the club.
It comes after his most prolific season for the Blues since his breakthrough. In 29 Premier League appearances, the England international has scored 10 and assisted nine.
The English international will have just two years left on his contract with the Blues after the ongoing season, and the west London club are eager to tie him down to a longer deal.
With sanctions preventing Chelsea from offering Mount a much-improved deal, which his performances certainly deserve, Liverpool and Manchester City are looking to take advantage of the situation.
That’s s according to the Sun who claims both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are said to be fans of the 23-year-old and have asked their respective boards to keep a close eye on his situation.
A playmaker of Mount’s skillet will be a dream option for Man City boss Pep Guardiola to consider during this summer transfer window.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from Man City supporters.
