Barcelona rising midfielder Nico Gonzalez has revealed during a new interview that he had ‘rejected’ an offer from Manchester City.
The 20-year-old, who is one of Barcelona’s many young, up-and-coming talents, has become a mainstay for La Blaugrana this term, featuring 34 times for their senior side.
And after an impressive stint in Catalonia, it appears Nico caught the eye of both Manchester City and Real Madrid.
However, Speaking during a recent interview, as quoted by Miquel Blazquez, Nico Gonzalez has revealed, “I have rejected offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City because I have always been from Barça.”
“If the club wants, I would love to stay in Barcelona all my life. It’s my dream,” Gonzalez continued.
These Gonzalez’s comments were shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
