Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update on the club’s pursuit of Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old striker was linked with a move to the Etihad as Harry Kane alternative as City were in the market for a prolific striker across the course of the summer transfer window.
Having failed to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer, Vlahovic has been regarded as a realistic alternative ahead of 2022.
The Serbian forward, who is who is attracting interest from nearly every top side on the planet, scored 21 goals last season, and has 18 goals and 3 assists already this term, further adding to his growing reputation across the continent.
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, via Wettfreunde, Premier League teams have been handed a boost in their pursuit of the Serbia international, as he would prefer a move to England should he decide to leave Fiorentina.
Di Marzio also stated that a move to Arsenal for Vlahovic is unlikely as the striker has a greater interest in joining either Manchester City, Manchester United or even Tottenham.
In light to the update, many Man City fans as usual have reacted – here are some of their responses.

I’ll take him at city in a heartbeat, a fusion of Aguero and Dzeko type of striker.

Don’t know too much of Vlahovic, but if Pep wants him over Haaland, then that’s good enough for me.
I just hope we don’t give £100m to spurs for Kane.— steve bower (@bowermcfc) December 28, 2021
