Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Barcelona will try to sign Raheem Sterling in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old was linked with the Blaugrana last transfer window. A swap deal was speculated with Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto among players mentioned.
Sterling has improved immeasurably since making the move from Liverpool to City in 2015. He has scored 73 league goals in just 168 league games under the Spaniard.
However, his form dipped in the 2020/21 campaign, and he faces added competition for places following the arrival of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer.
Sport last month reported that Barcelona were negotiating a move for the winger – with reports suggesting that Barca’s football director Mateu Alemany had begun talks with City over the potential signing.
According to Oriol Domènech via OnzeTv3, the La Liga club will try to sign Raheem Sterling in the January transfer window.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
