Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have slapped a £68m price tag on the head of wantaway winger Raheem Sterling.
The 26-year-old has struggled for regular starts under Pep Guardiola this term and recently admitted that he would be open to a move away from the club if the right opportunity presented itself.
City are supposedly keen to keep Sterling on the books amid the transfer speculation, but Barcelona are being heavily linked with a swoop as Ousmane Dembele runs down the final months of his deal.
According to Spanish publication Marca, Barcelona are keen to strengthen their forward line with Sterling among the leading candidates to be targeted either in January or next summer.
However, as per the report, City are in no mood to make it easy for the Catalans, with the Premier League club slapping a €80 million (£67.6m) price tag on the wide forward.
The Englishman’s current contract expires in 2023 and despite talks stalling over a new deal, City are not ready to lower their valuation of the player.
Sterling started just his third Premier League game of the season against Burnley at the weekend and boasts one goal and one assist from 11 matches in all tournaments this term.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
