Manchester City will have to pay €30million (£25.7m) if they want to land Atalanta’s Robin Gosens, according to reports.
The Germany international has emerged as one of the best left wing-backs for club and country over the past 12 months.
The 27-year-old operates as a left-back, a left wing-back and as a left midfielder and is being eyed by Man City. That’s according to Calciomercato (via Sport Witness).
The Italian outlet write that the Premier League champions made an approach for Gosens in the summer transfer window but were pushed back.
The report adds that a return for the player ‘cannot be excluded’ with Atalanta’s owners ready to negotiate their versatile star’s sale by setting their asking price at €30m.
Gosens, who contributed 11 goals and eight assists in Serie A last season, has three years remaining on his contract at the Gewiss Stadium.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Would be a good buy for left back. He killed it for Germany at the Euros

He is excellent and we really should sign him or Hernandez. The problem is though because we didn’t sign a forward in the Summer, next season we will still need one, a quality cdm and a left back!
