Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update of the club’s reported interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic as Harry Kane’s alternative.
The 21-year-old striker’s future at Fiorentina is under the scanner with suggestions that he could be on his way out in the final days of the transfer window.
City are in the market for a new striker this summer with their priority remaining Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane but the club are prepared to walkaway from the deal if Spurs do not lower their asking price.
Pep Guardiola is certainly aware that the club needs to recruit a striker this summer given his side’s struggles in front of goal, and reports have surfaced suggesting that Vlahovic has now become the ‘primary objective’ for the Citizens.
However, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano have seemingly dismantled the rumours linking Manchester City to the 21-year-old forward.
There is ‘nothing’ involving Manchester City and Dušan Vlahović, Fabrizio Romano reaffirms.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
What a shame ..he is a good player.

This dosent mean we’re not monitoring him as a backup option if Kane falls through

Given there was so much prior knowledge about the Kane deal, unusual for City as we try to keep transfers quiet, how come no-one seems to know what the Plan B or C is if he doesn't sign? Do we have one even. Worried.
